There's something wonderfully timeless about the olive tree, with its slender branches, delicate silvery-green leaves and enduring connection to the sun-drenched landscapes of the Mediterranean. The Chartres Olive Branch Mosaic Tray captures that quiet, natural beauty, bringing a little warmth and rustic charm into the home.

At its heart, a graceful arrangement of olive branches stretches upwards, its slender leaves beautifully depicted in soft shades of sage, fresh green and muted olive. The delicate botanical design celebrates the simple elegance of this much-loved tree, whose branches have long been associated with peace, friendship and harmony.

Surrounding the foliage is an intricate mosaic-style background, where tiny square tiles in warm cream, ivory and soft beige create a lovely sense of texture and depth. A decorative border of deep green and charcoal geometric detailing frames the design, adding definition and a touch of traditional Mediterranean character.

Imagine it resting on a kitchen dresser beside a terracotta pot of fresh herbs, or displayed on a sideboard amongst favourite ceramics, woven baskets and natural linens. Its gentle, earthy colouring works beautifully with warm wood and other botanical-inspired pieces, creating a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere that feels effortlessly at home in both country cottages and contemporary interiors.

A lovely celebration of nature's understated beauty, the Chartres Olive Branch Tray combines the enduring charm of traditional mosaic design with the simple elegance of Mediterranean greenery. A little reminder of sunny gardens, peaceful afternoons and the pleasure of bringing the outdoors in.
