There's something wonderfully romantic about a peony in full bloom. With its generous, ruffled petals and delicate layers of colour, it's a flower that never fails to catch the eye. The Chartres Peony Mosaic Tray captures that fleeting beauty, bringing a little of the summer garden into the home.

At the centre of this charming round tray, a magnificent peony unfolds in soft shades of blush pink, dusky rose and warm cream. Its beautifully layered petals are complemented by deep green leaves, creating a striking botanical design that celebrates one of the most treasured flowers of the cottage garden.

Surrounding the bloom is an intricate mosaic-style background, where tiny tiles in gentle shades of buttery yellow, ivory and soft cream form graceful, sweeping circles. A delicate border of rounded white tiles frames the design, adding a lovely finishing touch reminiscent of traditional decorative mosaics found in elegant French country houses.

Imagine it resting on a favourite sideboard, catching the warmth of the afternoon sunshine, or displayed on a coffee table alongside well-loved books and a simple vase of garden flowers. Its gentle colours work beautifully with natural wood, woven textures and soft linens, bringing warmth and character to both traditional and contemporary interiors.

A lovely celebration of botanical beauty and timeless mosaic design, the Chartres Peony Tray offers a little reminder of those glorious early summer days when the garden is bursting into flower.
