This fine globe bears the name and designs of Mercator, whose maps have been used as standards in schools and maps over many years. Hand applied gores reproduced from the famous Dutch cartographer, Gerardus Mercator’s engraved charts from 1541. Made in co-operation with the Royal Library in Brussels.
